1. Organizer of the contest:
The contest is organized by Le Pain d’Antan, located at Rue des Poiriers 1, 5030 Gembloux, Belgium, and takes place in-store and through a video to be viewed on our social media channels.
2. Contest period:
The contest starts on April 5, 2025, and ends on April 21, 2025. Entries must be submitted in-store between these dates. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.
3. Conditions for participation:
Participation is open to any individual who is an adult and resides in Belgium.
To participate, customers must:
- Purchase one of the following products in-store: small chocolate eggs, the honeycomb-filled egg, the carrot-filled egg, or the prestige eggs.
-Complete a participation form, available in-store or on our website.
-One entry form per receipt.
-Answer the following question: "Estimate the weight of the 35 cm high egg to the nearest gram."
-Answer the secondary question: "How many people do you estimate will participate in this contest?"
-Deposit the completed form into the designated ballot box in-store.
4. Prize of the contest:
The 3 winners will each receive a giant chocolate egg 35cm high, a unique creation made by our chocolatiers.
5. Selection of winners:
The 3 winners will be selected from participants who have correctly estimated the weight of the egg, or whose guess is closest to the actual weight of the egg. In case of a tie on the estimated weight, winners will be selected based on their proximity to the exact weight, taking into account their answer to the secondary question: "How many people will participate in this contest?" Winners will be personally contacted by email or phone after the contest ends.
6. Prize delivery procedures:
The winners will be personally informed and must confirm their identity within 7 days of receiving the notification. If a winner does not respond within this time frame, a new winner will be selected from participants who have correctly estimated the weight of the egg or whose guess is closest to the actual weight, immediately after the deadline expires.
7. Protection of personal data:
Personal data collected in connection with this contest (name, first name, email, phone number) will only be used for selecting winners and awarding prizes. It will not be shared with third parties. Participants who check the box "I wish to be informed about the offers and news of Le Pain d'Antan via email" consent to receiving commercial information related to the offers and news of Le Pain d'Antan.
8. Acceptance of the rules:
Participation in the contest implies unconditional acceptance of these rules in their entirety. The organizer reserves the right to cancel or suspend the contest in case of force majeure or fraud.
9. Announcement of results:
The results will be communicated personally to the winners by phone or email. An announcement of the results may also be made on our website or social media, unless the winners object.
